Do you have the courage to lead? We will explore leadership as an act of service to the profession, delving into the philosophy and practices of leadership as they relate to personal and professional growth. Regardless of your current position, we will challenge you to think deeply about your leadership role. You will be encouraged to take risks with your leadership abilities by pursuing roles such as department head, and local association board positions and working as an advocate for World Language teaching and learning at all levels. This strand is invitational only and requires a two-year commitment. Successful Leadership graduates will complete a multi-year project related to their personal leadership interests and goals. Minimum of 3 previous SWLP/BAFLP seminars or equivalent.
